Rainy-Snowy Monday

It's hard to get the kids to sit for a picture these days. Shannon still doesn't like to smile for them at all. Brady loves to smile, but is on the move now and can't be bothered. He still has some bad bruising from the wipe out last week. They were actually playing nice for a moment so I decided to try and take a few shots...Here is the best....Happy Monday everyone !

At a Loss !

O.K... I woke up this morning with the excitement of starting yet again, potty training. I got the big girl undies and the small seat to cover the seat. I thought for sure the Dora undies would do it. Shannon has NO INTEREST at all. She sat a few times this morning, liked the idea of being able to flush it herself and wash her hands ( new found love for water play these days). Everyone tells me not to force it, she will be 3 in June. Shouldn't she at least be interested in it? I feel like I am going to have a 5 year old in depends.......

What Spring?

It is a nice sunny day out. It is also very mild. THIS IS STILL OUR FRON LAWN !!!!!! so sick of the snow. Spring will show up just in time for summer.......

I gave Brady a few crackers and went downstairs to change the laundry. I was gone maybe 5 minutes. The crackers are gone and he is sound a sleep.......I Love those cheeks....

I think it was a gray volkswagon rabbit. I never got to actually drive it. The first time I started it, the fuel line had a leak in it and it blew up...my mom had to call the fire department. AHHH such memories.

11. Where were you when 9/11 happened? I was at work in Boston. Worried about how I was going to get home on the "T". Wasn't sure if Boston was next to be hit. Waiting ot hear from Kevin, who was in DC that day near the Pentagon. Ended the day at Mary and Billy's watching it all unfold on TV.

14. Do you have any obsessions right now? Getting un-packed..seeem's to be taking forever.

Brady's 1st haircut.....

We went to Auntie Mary and Uncle Billy's house for the St. Patricks Day feast of corned beef and cabbage. It was very yummy. Brady also got his first haircut. I thought he was going to yell, scream and maybe kick. Not a flinch. He sat in my arms and let Auntie Mary cut away. I saved those soft red curls for the baby box. Although very handsome....My baby boy is looking like a big boy now. Thank you for dinner and my little guy's haircut. Shannon also enjoyed the popsicle she screamed the whole way home for........

This Party was one of the best kid party's I have ever been to. Everyone had such a great time. I am sorry that I did not get any photo's of the jousting events. I'm sure someone must have them. It was great to see all of you.... Happy Birthday to BROOKE, REILLY and CARAGH !!!

Lunch With Auntie

Thank You Auntie Mary and Auntie Katie for coming over for lunch today. Shannon and Brady had fun playing with the cousins. Shannon was looking for her new friend Rex after everyone left. She informed me that Rex LOVES NEMO just like her, she was also talking about Brookie and Erin going potty like big girls, maybe there is hope in the near future for big girl potty here also. Shannon always steals my plastic cups from under the counter. Today they were all in Brady's crib when everyone got here. Auntie Mary and Auntie Katie wanted to know if Brady was planning a keg party at such a young age ! He is IRISH you know guys !!!! Thanks for a great day.

Moving

Moving Sucks !!!!!!!

I can't believe that we had to move in what seems like the 40th snow fall this winter. The moving truck got stuck in the drive way several times. The guy's moving us were great. Very nice and patient. They got us moved over to the new place in 2 trips. I am still unpacking...but, I am making headway. It will be " HOME " soon. I think Shannon loved all the excitement, while Brady was sleeping anywhere he could. They both did better than I did. Shannon was glad that her Mickey Mouse bed and Ruby made it to the new house. She kept telling the movers to be careful with her things. Thank goodness they all had young kids and didn't seem bothered with her questions and demands. Wish me luck unpacking.... Lunch at the new place soon !!!!
